This Privacy Policy explains how GraveCareUkraine collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website at gravecareukraine.com or contact us by email or WhatsApp.
We collect only what we need, we do not sell your data, and we handle everything with care — especially given the personal and sensitive nature of the services we provide.

2. What data we collect
Data you give us directly
When you fill in our contact form or write to us by email or WhatsApp, you may share:
- Your name, email address, country of residence and phone number
- Details about the burial site — city, cemetery, section, row, plot number
- Name and dates of the deceased person
- In grave search cases: photographs, documents or other materials relating to the deceased
- Any other information you choose to include in your message
Data collected automatically
When you visit our website, we collect standard technical data through analytics tools:
- IP address, browser type, device type
- Pages visited, time spent on site, referring URL
- General geographic location (country/city level only)
3. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss what you need
- To perform the agreed grave care services
- To send you photo reports and updates about your order
- To process payment and maintain records required by Ukrainian law
- To improve our website using aggregated, anonymised analytics
We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent and we do not send newsletters or promotional emails.
4. Sensitive personal data
Information about deceased persons — including their name, dates, burial location and any photographs — is treated with the highest level of care and confidentiality. This data is used solely to locate and identify the correct grave site. It is never shared with third parties and is deleted when the service is complete, unless you ask us to retain it for future visits.
5. Third-party tools we use
- Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager — website analytics (Google LLC, USA). Data is anonymised.
- Google Search Console — website performance monitoring (Google LLC, USA).
- Netlify Forms — contact form submissions (Netlify Inc., USA).
- Gmail — email communication (Google LLC, USA).
- WhatsApp — messenger communication (Meta Platforms, USA).
We do not sell your data to any of these providers or any other third party.
6. International data transfers
Some tools we use store data on servers in the United States or European Union. Where data is transferred outside Ukraine or the EEA, it is protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms under applicable law.
7. How long we keep your data
- Enquiries that did not result in a service: deleted within 12 months
- Completed orders: retained for 3 years for accounting and legal purposes
- Sensitive data about the deceased: deleted when the service is complete, unless you ask us to keep it for future visits
- Analytics data: retained in anonymised form per each tool's own retention settings
8. Your rights
If you are located in the EU or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Write to us at gravecare.cc.ua@gmail.com — we will respond within 30 days.
